In pictures: Hampton Village in Sri Lanka

The village is comprised 50 whitewashed cottages, 43 of which have been given to families affected by the tsunami. There is a health centre, a place of worship, a study centre and accommodation for exchange students and visitors.

The education of the next generation is a priority and bursaries for overseas study will be available.
