In pictures: Hampton Village in Sri Lanka

The idea for Hampton Village Sri Lanka was conceived and the group began collecting money from well wishers, local schools and through charity events.

Land was purchased and plans to create new accommodation for families who lost their homes and livelihoods on that fateful day leapt off the drawing board and into reality.
