In pictures: Hampton Village in Sri Lanka

After the Asian tsunami struck on 26 December 2004, a group of Sri Lankan residents living in Hampton, west London, led by Dr Upali Wickrema-Sekera were determined to get involved in the reconstruction process.

Photographer Tim Pile was on hand to record the day their work came to fruition.
