In pictures: Coping with the floods

On Monday, a river that runs along the Winn Gardens estate burst.

It flooded dozens of homes, damaged thousands of pounds worth of property and forced many to find other places to stay.

But it also brought out community spirit. Neighbours brought spaghetti Bolognese to those who stayed put, and others have offered spare rooms to victims.
