Alejandro Iriondo is a smallholder in Chijichpa, a village in Bolivia's sub-tropical Yungas region.
He works seven days a week to put his children through school. The family is Afro-Bolivian, descended from slaves.
"I've tried hard to bring my family together. I am closer with my children than I was with my parents," he says.
