In pictures: Mozambique's fishing revival
Diving

Bamboo traps are left overnight, and the caught fish are weighed, measured and released.

WWF's marine programme officer Alice Costa said the move was initially met with some resistance. She said people questioned why - when the sea was so immense - they must avoid certain areas.

She says: "Now I see all size categories from juveniles to adults. There are many large fish.

"It is impressive and the local fishermen dive and see for themselves that it is working."
