Broken families are the result of lives lost to war and the rebels' previous prolific abduction campaign. "Many, many families are headed by children," explains Joseph Owor, 45, who volunteers for the camp's Child Protection Committee.
The group aims to assist the children who care for other children – their younger sibling dependents. Several NGOs are involved but only World Vision really helps, Mr Owor claims.
