Henry Muindi is one of thousands of young Kenyan men involved in running minibus taxis, known as matatus, in the capital, Nairobi.

At 31 he is also among the eight million younger swing voters expected to play a decisive role in next week’s hotly contested elections.

Those involved in the matatu business are often caught between a rock and a hard place - having to pay bribes to police and protection money to brutal local gangs who control the routes they ply.
