This is the first time Richard Offei, 25, can call himself a Black Star.

Hailing from "the great Accra", Ghana's capital, he hopes his family will see him on the television back home.

Although Ghana lost 3-0 to hosts Sierra Leone in the opening game, he hit the post.

"They are so strong and fast and skilful," he says of the Sierra Leone team. He works for the Ghana Cocoa Board.

"We're going to show other disabled people in Africa you can do something better in your life."
