In pictures: Tribal quake survivors rebuild

There are positive stories but we cannot forget that infrastructure is still in a bad state. Many families left the valley. This has damaged the fabric of the local community.

A broken bridge such as this makes work virtually impossible for shepherds. Livelihoods were badly affected and have not really recovered.

On top of the earthquake there was a serious outbreak of livestock disease because so many animals spent the winter outside. With such problems, I don't know how normal life will resume.
