For many children of the tsunami, life is still a struggle despite the improvement in most lives. Many families still rely heavily on agriculture to make ends meet, and children are expected to pull their weight.

Some children still have nightmares - bed wetting is common - and others have withdrawn into themselves. But at the childrens' home, help is at hand and tramatised children are receiving counselling. "They used to be scared, but now they're OK," said an orpanage worker.
