Those in Jan's squat cook together, but there’s no system for who does what.

A bucket catches drips from the kitchen ceiling, which Jan says stops it from running into the occupied council flat below, and they have patched up holes in the floorboards.

"We see ourselves more as caretakers than squatters. We are mostly artists or students. We don’t have junkies here and we are happy about that."
