In pictures: Katrina's trailer park refugees
 

A year after Hurricane Katrina swept through New Orleans thousands of its former residents continue to live in Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) trailer parks in the southern states of the US.

Renaissance Village is one of those and consists of nearly 600 trailers on a dusty gravel lot in Baker, Louisiana.
