Many of the Roma of Little London make a living by recycling metal. Used cars are brought to the settlement and taken apart, to be resold as scrap or sheet metal.
The Roma way of life has survived the wars that have reshaped the region.
Human rights groups say Serbia is home to half-a-million Roma. Serbia's government says the number is far smaller.
"The people here are dirt poor but they're proud," says Marko. "We all get along well together."
