Visitors to the gallery are confronted with this wall of green light called untitled (to you heiner, with admiration and affection).

Almost all of Flavin's fluorescent works were untitled, but most carry a dedication.

As co-curator Tiffany Bell points out, the dedications have a practical side effect – they make the pieces much easier to keep track of.
