Besides financial services, internet gaming and the repairing and fuelling of ships, tourism is an important part of Gibraltar's economy. Despite, or perhaps because of, its old fashioned feel, tourist numbers are booming.

There are hopes that opening the airport to flights from outside the UK will bolster numbers further.
