Almost 800 children die in Africa every day because their parents cannot afford to pay health fees, according to a report by British charity Save the Children.
The worst affected country is Sierra Leone, where about 25% of children die before their fifth birthday.
Satta Swaray, 17, could not afford the fees to have her baby in a clinic, so she used a traditional midwife. After complications with her labour, the midwife said she could not cope. Her baby was stillborn.
