Mamadou Sarr from near Senegal's capital, Dakar, decribes his life as a fisherman.

This is my fishing cabin. My dog Copin, (‘Friend’), sleeps here but I use it to store my materials. I’ve had this cabin for seven years.

I’ve been working with tourists for 15 years, taking them on fishing excursions. It balances my work as a fisherman.

I take tourists out perhaps once a week but I keep fishing to feed my family with the fish I bring in and the money I get from selling it
