In pictures: Seeking DR Congo's wildlife
Invisible nets

After three days walking over the plateau, the team finally reached the forest.

They used special mist nets to catch the birds. They are almost invisible and very soft, so the birds are not hurt.

More than 60 species of bird were found.

Here, Albert Masanga, one of the team's bird specialists, holds a yellow whiskered greenbull, a common species in the forests of central and eastern Africa.
