Forgotten war

The Democratic Republic of Congo's southern Katanga province is rich in minerals and hosts several foreign mining companies.

It is also home to a conflict largely forgotten by the world outside.

Camps like this around the town of Dubie have received about 18,000 people driven from their homes in the last few months by fighting between government troops and the Mai-Mai militia.
