Omar walks to the outskirts of his village, to visit the fields where he once used to work.
"In the rainy season, this valley would become a 'wadi' [seasonal river], and we would only need to walk a few steps to water our vegetables," recalls Omar.
"These fields would be filled with workers. Now look, it's dry as a bone, and no-one has been able to make anything grow on my land.
“The change is incredible. It's sad to come here, but I feel happy I left."
