Photojournal: Burden of malaria

As the wet season approaches, malaria is never far behind. In such impoverished conditions there are days when people hardly eat, so something like a mosquito net is an impossibility.

With no sanitation and many areas where water collects, IDP camps become breeding grounds for mosquitoes which infect residents with impunity.
