Much of the power station's equipment, including the contents of the two turbine halls and boiler house, was removed after closure or during preparation work for the failed theme park venture in the 1980s.

But in other sections of the building apparatus is still in place.

Some will be kept for a museum planned for the new development, but most - like these 66,000 volt switchgear units - will be taken out to make way for shops, bars, restaurants and more.
