Photo journal: Afghan election candidate

After 13 hours of campaigning, Sabrina takes a phone call from a friend. There is little time for rest as the election draws near but there is respite from the relentless canvassing.

She is an avid basketball player and often shoots hoops at dawn. "I play basketball most mornings and I've been chosen for the national team".

She's hoping to be chosen by the public for an altogether different challenge.
