In pictures: An Iranian bathhouse

This second mosaic depicts a battle between ancient Persian hero Rostam and a white monster known as Div-e Sefid.

Rostam's story is depicted in the 10th Century epic poem Shahnameh, written by Ferdowsi, who dedicated 30 years of his life to completing the work.

It is the national epic of Iran but little known in the West.
