In pictures: An Iranian bathhouse

Golam Hussein, Hamid's father, is now very old and finds it hard to walk, but he still tries to go to the bathhouse.

Hamid now sits at this desk where his father used to.

On average, the bathhouse now has about six local visitors a day but many more tourists come to admire the mosaics.

Hamid says they do not charge visitors, but they accept a modest tip.
