"I've never had a problem getting on or off a train but the wheelchair space is always at the end of the carriage next to the toilets, so you have to suffer the smell and everybody walking past you to use them.

"I’ve flown quite a bit and find air travel fine, I usually take my own wheelchair so that helps. But the tube is a different matter, we are advised not to use it alone."
