In pictures: Nikon picture editor awards

The Nikon Picture Editor Awards are soon to be decided. One of the candidates for the Photo Essay section is John James.

James has won countless regional and national awards over the years and currently has an exhibition "A Long Exposure" touring museums, libraries and galleries around Worcestershire.

James’ nominated work depicts the first day at school for Robert Sargeant of Edgbaston, Birmingham.
