Most of the emigres have left family behind in Bolivia.

The father of Alicia Escalera Cantarran’s baby girl flew to Spain just before she was born two weeks ago.

He's managed to find work on a farm there.

"He says he wants to come back and see the baby," says Alicia. "But I don’t believe him."
