I urge the new government to make an effort to fight the corruption. It is everywhere. The police threaten shopkeepers and truckers. They also control the gas station lines. I swear a lot of them were among the thieves and looters. They should check their past and make a point of hiring the people that Saddam fired.

What is the point in having money if you are not safe?

If the new government does not clean up the police and the corruption, they will not succeed.
