In pictures: Art of Brazil's landless

Brazil's landless movement, the MST, is staging a 200km march to the capital Brasilia to call for accelerated land reform.

Under the banner of the MST, peasants and workers stage mass land occupations to appropriate fertile but unproductive tracts of land.

They use murals, mosaics and monuments to capture the spirit of defiance and self-emancipation which drives one of South America's largest and most ambitious social movements.
