"I am going to leave this place," Chiweshe says. "All our dreams and aspirations have been shattered."

He believes though that as an artist, he has a unique opportunity to sneak critical material past the authorities.

"Sometimes they can’t decode. As artists we have that advantage and must capitalise on that."
