Runner-up Abigail Mabhoni, 18, from Mugabe village, near the central city of Masvingo, has now been crowned queen following Liweline’s disqualification.

She is studying at a school which has no roof or windows and there is one text book between 20 children and intends to use her position to make sure people in rural areas learn about their rights.

“Poverty drives people to towns to look for jobs, but they can only get jobs as domestic workers, because they aren’t educated.”
