In pictures: HIV Carer

Grandparents have been described as as the backbone of Aids care in Africa. One such couple in central Mozambique tell their story.

Maria, 65, and her husband Manuel, live in Tete Province. They are the primary carers for their son Ronaldo and their granddaughter Rosa, both of whom have tested positive for HIV.

They sold their goats and chickens to pay for treatment for Ronaldo, but he still doesn't get better.
