Photojournal: Getting water in Africa
Terrible water

Anna Mulambe, Rusangu Hamakamo, Zambia

I draw all my water from here. It takes me an hour to collect it and I come four times a day. I try and collect enough so that I can bathe my children before they go to school each day - I have eight children and four grandchildren.

This is terrible, awful water. We have had a lot of diarrhoea from drinking this. It brings us nothing but trouble. It makes us ill and weak all the time.
