My truck-driver husband Rajinder was trying to save the Sikh holy book from the mob when they hunted him down and set him on fire.

I have just got my eldest daughter Gurvinder Kaur married. I think my life has turned a new leaf. But we miss Rajinder terribly. If he was alive, there would have been much more joy.

I feel settled now, but the void remains. I don’t want to think about it. I don’t blame anybody. I want to forget it. It isn’t easy though.
