BBC News visits an area of India where farmers are forced to compete for water with a local marble factory.

My name is Bargi Devi. I am 64 years old. I live in a village in Kishangarh district of Rajasthan.

We are a large family - I live with my husband, his brother and my sister-in law, three sons and their wives, two unmarried daughters and five grandchildren.

We are farmers - we grow coarse grain such as millet. But because the rains are rare, our lives are hard.
