We should continue our nuclear programmes. I don’t believe we have nuclear weapons yet - if we did Israel would not dare make the threats it has done against us.

I think the government is pursuing both peaceful nuclear energy and nuclear weapons. We have every right to do this. Why should the US, Russia, the UK, France, Israel and others have this technology, and not us? This kind of technology will help the country develop.
