In pictures: French Jews in Israel
Welcoming immigrants

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon welcomed some 200 French Jews immigrating to Israel on Wednesday. This came less than two weeks after he sparked a diplomatic row with France with a speech urging French Jews to leave France because of rising anti-Semitism.

BBC News Online asked some of the new arrivals why they moved to Israel and for their views on Mr Sharon's comments.
