Photojournal: Inca Trail Porter

It takes three to four days to walk the Inca trail and I’m usually employed four times a month, to carry everything the tourists need for their trip. This includes tents, food, gas canisters and cooking equipment.

When I first started working as a porter, we used to have to carry more than 50kg on our backs. Now the limit is 25kg (55lb).
