Photo Journal: US reservist

I got married just before we left for Kuwait in January. My wife's a dental hygienist and I'm manager of a car rental company in civilian life.

Lots of other reservists have been griping about how our tour of duty here has been lengthened, from a year to a year in theatre - that is in the Mid-East. But I'm happy to stay as long as I'm needed. This is what I enlisted for.

But I have got two weeks' home leave coming up, which is due to start on 18 December, so I'm excited about being home for Christmas.
