The C-Moc is now being run day-to-day by these guys. They learnt what to do when they were employed as translators by us.

They just came forward to help after the war and we couldn't have done our job without them.

At the back is Thea who has been with us from the beginning and is still our favourite – an English graduate and poetry-lover.

We lost a close friend last month. One of our best translators, Saad, was shot dead while working for an Italian diplomat.
