Photo Journal: Baghdad family
Family tradition

This is my eldest son Bilal (23). He keeps the family tradition of fishing on the Tigris alive.

He goes out at four o'clock in the morning, when it's nice and cool, and returns after four or five hours.

If the fishing was good we'd all be happy to do it, but there are not enough fish in the river.

Sometimes he comes back with a couple of kilos, but sometimes he catches nothing.
