Photo Journal: Baghdad family

We have a simple bathroom and kitchen. There is running water most of the time now, maybe it gets cut off once or twice a week – much better than during the war.

The tap water is clean, but during the war we had to drink from the Tigris, which would make the children sick.

Electricity is also more regular than before. We have light in the evening and only in the day when we don't need it does it get cut off.
