Photo Journal: Baghdad family

This is where we live. Our family has rented this house for 30 years.

My family – me, my wife Iman and our five children - share with my brother Tarik and his two boys who live on the top floor. We are on the floor below, with the painted balcony.

Also in the house are my mother, Um Tarik, and my sister-in-law Shaima and her two children, Karim and Beka. Their father Ziad was killed this year in the war with the Americans.
