Photo Journal: Baghdad family

In the middle is my older brother Tarik, who is deaf and mute. He's our foreman and gets $6 a day while I get $2.50. My son Muhammad is paid $2 because he is only a boy.

Together we help look after the children of my brother, the martyr Ziad.

On the building site I have to make sure the boys behave themselves and don't play games, because it can be dangerous if you are not careful.
