But he/she is now less likely to have a rural background – and may not work in the countryside.
Age patterns are changing: largest age group is now 35-39 instead of 50-54, and only among 16-24-year-olds are more moving from country to town than vice-versa.
The few rural ethnic minority groups live mainly in central and South East England.
