Download is held in the spiritual home of UK rock festivals, Donington Park. AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica and Kiss have all played at the venue, once host to the Monsters of Rock and Ozzfest events. Download was created in 2003, and is one of the few festivals to run through the night.
