Five men have been found guilty of plotting to kill hundreds in an al-Qaeda-linked bomb plot. The international conspiracy included links to the 7 July 2005 London bombings. Two other men on trial at the Old Bailey were found not guilty.
Evidence from supergrass Mohammed Babar was at the centre of the case against the defendants. The US citizen travelled to Pakistan soon after 9/11, planning to fight American troops in Afghanistan. His home in Lahore became a base for militants and he organised a training camp for many of the suspects.
