LEEDS Where and when was it? Branham Park, Wetherby, near Leeds, 27-29 August. Who played? The Darkness, The White Stripes, Green Day, Morrissey, 50 Cent, The Offspring. What was it like? Business as usual for the sixth Leeds festival, with the usual mixture of hard rock and guitar bands domimating proceedings this year, sharing its bill with its sister event in Reading. Anything else? Moving the festival to its site at Wetherby last year was a success - with crowd violence at its old venue now a distant memory.
